FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS — KICKSTARTER

Why launch Dame d'Orléans on Kickstarter?

Caltagirone, our first piece, already exists. The next creations in the Sicilia collection have already been imagined and designed.

For us, Kickstarter represents an opportunity to take the next step: moving from a first piece of jewelry to the birth of a true collection, and with it, the first steps of Dame d'Orléans.

What will the campaign fund?

The campaign will primarily fund the production of the first pieces in the Sicilia collection and support Dame d'Orléans during this initial stage of its development.

Beyond a collection, each contribution helps take part in the beginnings of a jewelry house designed to tell, through its creations, the art and cultures of the world.

When will the first bracelets be shipped?

The precise production and shipping schedule will be communicated during our Kickstarter campaign. We want to announce realistic deadlines and allow sufficient time for the careful production and quality control of each piece.

What happens if the campaign exceeds its goal?

If the campaign exceeds its funding goal, new creations may join the Sicilia collection.

The different tiers and their potential surprises will be revealed throughout the adventure.

Will the Kickstarter models be available on the website later?

Our priority will first be given to backers who choose to support us from the very beginning of Dame d'Orléans.

The subsequent availability of these models on our store will depend on the progress of the campaign.

Is the bracelet water-resistant?

Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear. However, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water, particularly salt water and chlorinated water.

How should I care for my bracelet?

To help preserve its finish, avoid direct contact with perfumes, creams, and chemicals whenever possible. If the bracelet comes into contact with any substance, gently rinse it with clean water and dry it with a soft, dry cloth.

When not wearing it, store it in a dry place, preferably separately from your other jewelry.

What is its length? is it adjustable ?

The bracelet measures 150 mm, with an additional 24 mm extension chain.

Minimum and maximum length: 160-190mm

What materials are used?

The bracelet combines a stainless-steel structure with white enamel tiles and an 18-carat gold PVD finish. The colorful motifs are reproduced on the enamel using high-definition UV printing.

Does the gold finish contain 18-carat gold?

Yes. The gold finish is obtained through the PVD process using 18-carat gold. Unlike traditional gold plating, PVD provides a more resistant and durable finish, making it particularly well suited to jewelry designed for everyday wear.

It is not a solid gold piece, but a gold finish applied to a stainless-steel base.

How are the motifs created?

Each motif is hand-drawn digitally on a graphics tablet, then refined and adapted to the specific dimensions of each tile. It is then reproduced on white enamel using high-definition UV printing, preserving the finesse of the original design and the intensity of its colors.
